What We Believe

Statement of Faith

A brief statement

We believe in the Triune God, eternally in three persons, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

We believe in the virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe and affirm that the Second Person of the Triune Godhead, The Son who was incarnate in human flesh, was named Jesus the Christ, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit in the womb of Virgin Mary.

We believe in the crucifixion, death and burial of the Lord Jesus Christ and His subsequent resurrection three days later.

We believe in the one holy, universal, church built on the foundation of the Apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone.

We affirm that every believer should be part of a local church for his/her spiritual growth and to fellowship with other saints.

We believe that the 39 books of the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament as God-breathed Word of God and sufficient and necessary for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.

We affirm that two Sacraments were instituted by our Lord (namely Baptism and Lord’s Supper) and given to the church in which all of God’s people should be partakers.

We believe that salvation for eternal life is a free gift of God, given to His elect, by His grace, and received by faith alone.

We believe and look forward to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in glory, to judge the living and the dead, the righteous in Christ and the wicked.

We believe that those who are justified in Christ will resurrect to eternal life in the presence of God.
